Balance update
Hey everyone!
Here comes the first patch following our initial release!
This update focuses on fixing some of the most annoying bugs and introducing a few gameplay changes based on your feedback
Important Note for Web Players:
Due to an issue with our previous save system, this patch will reset your meta progression if you're playing on the web version. We're really sorry about that! The good news is: starting with this patch, your progression will now persist across future updates. No more wipes!
Gameplay Changes:
- We’ve adjusted the difficulty curve — the early game is now more forgiving and fun, making it easier to reach the third boss. But the boss is now much stronger!
- We changed the rarity of some spells, so now it should be easier to create powerful builds
- Priest and Shaman have received tuning to their soul-based abilities: Releasing Souls and Call of Souls
- Mage and Warrior are now the default available characters for new players
Technical Improvements:
- Save system fully reworked — your meta progression will now carry over between future updates
- Fixed a bug where the potion UI could get stuck on screen after throwing a potion
- Spells Sickle (Warrior) and Iron Fist (Monk) power-ups now correctly apply to illusions
- Graphics update! The visuals have been polished — the game should now look a bit less "indie"
- Fixed various missing descriptions and labels across the game
- Fixed a bug where it was impossible to throw the 7th die
Thanks for reading — now go check out the update and dive back in!
